Most people don’t think seriously about the inevitability of death until they get older—usually after reaching the age of 50 or 60. We hear about the average life span increasing, due to discoveries in the health industry, and they are now pegged at 84 for men and 86 for women for anyone who lives passed 65. We didn’t have any options to extend our lifespan at birth, but we did have an option after we entered the age of reason – by listening to what was being said about God, Jesus, and the Bible.
